Sasha Weinstein
Alexander Weinstein, was born in 1987 in St. Petersburg, Russia. Master of arts, theater producer, engine for progress, International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts (Brussels) consultant, he try to make sustainable projects which would s never working under but rather create opportunities.

He began his career as an art-manager in 2009, when he established theatre school named Leludi. This independent educational project is currently known as the largest Russian private theatre school. Leludi supports senior citizens to go on stage and perform.

Later in 2012 he founded "Platform Skorokhod». This multifunctional venue is unique as it's the only which is not supported by government and still alive. Skorohod gives opportunity for young theatre groups to show their works.

Working both locally and internationally Alexander was co-founder in EU funded big scale project "Meeting the Odyssey", where 14 partners from different countries gathered on one sailing boat and toured from St.Petersburg, Russia to Corfu, Greece staging shows about refugee crisis.

Alexander is very good in combining creative ideas, academicity and social work. He try to increase the popularity of this form of existence in arts, because he believes that it's the only way for artists and thinkers to remain independent and work freely. "My goal - is to encourage more people to work independently but not alone. To be sustainable in what we do and to create structures around".

His latest interest is lying in the field tolerance and multiculturalism, which lately became unpopular worldwide and especially in Russia. He trying to work with growing aggression through means of theatre and on-line education.
